When we listen, we offer with our attention an opportunity for wholeness. Our listening creates sanctuary for the homeless parts within the other person. That which has been denied, unloved, devalued by themselves and others. That which is hidden. Rachel Naomi Remen
Individual sessions, in person or online, in which I hold space with you as you investigate whatever’s going on, face what you need to face, and sense into what really matters to you. My role is to offer you a quality of calm, appreciative attention, utmost respect for the process as it unfolds for you, and no interruption. Attention of this calibre is a creative force that encourages you to be with things are they are and allow an authentic response to emerge in its own time. We trust silence as a place of great power – you’re free to be silent as often, and for as long as you need to be.
We have to dare to be ourselves, however frightening or strange that self may prove to be. May Sarton
When appropriate, with your permission, I volunteer simple questions that can help you examine attitudes, beliefs or assumptions that might be limiting you. I also offer simple practices that can help you deepen awareness and cultivate kindness towards yourself and others. I won’t analyse, push, or tell you what to do or how to do it. You have your own inner wisdom and guidance, and I am here to support you as you listen for it. You’re invited to let go of patterns that no longer serve and connect with the wholehearted courage and clarity needed to take the next step.
At the outset I will ask you if you’d like to include prayer, meditation, journaling or dreamwork in the process. I also offer practices that can nurture a more conscious and joyful connection to Earth and all beings in the web of life, if that’s what’s needed.
